Saturday events kick off at 7 AM from Huizenga Park with the Shamrock 4-Mile Run, promptly followed by the “Lucky Little Leprechaun Dashes” for kids. Live music and entertainment will carry on throughout the morning leading up to the cities most-revered St. Patrick’s spectacle.

The parade procession will begin at noon, commencing from SE 5th Avenue with a scenic cavalcade to move west through downtown. A full display of festive décor, this year’s parade will be led by Jack Seiler, Grand Marshal Major of Fort Lauderdale. The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales will also be prancing along the parade route, joining other float displays, bands, Irish step dancing troupes, and pipe and drum corps.
